Our story unfolds in the era of late 2005. Emprise the Avalon was forged deep in the mists of the distant land Modesto. Twas a dark time. This dry valley called for heroes. The winter was bitter and cold, and this need for change was felt throughout the land. A new style of metal was brought forth to purge the demons of mere common metal. Mighty were these men. This is only the beginning of their epic tale...

Five bored dudes who loved all kinds of metal started a band. After over a year of playing shows and even a line-up change, Emprise has finally found their sound. By using a slightly different approach to the solid recipe of our peers, we bring the speed and harmony of power and heavy metal with the aural punishment of death and thrash. We're trying to expand on all things that have been done before. All that we hope for is that you dig us for what we do. Oh, and we're pretty nerdy and easy to get along with, so say what's up!
