I was born in Istanbul in 1984 and grew up to become an arranger and composer. My hands can tune just about any instrument starting with classic guitar, electro guitar, piano, keyboard drums and percussion. I live, crave, breathe and wish to create music. But my fingers have other talents as well, for instance I create 3D animation and graphic projects for several companies.
Music and pride has filled my lungs at the night of "the new talented young jazz musician release" in 2002 for a tribute Erol Pekcan (famous Turkish Jazz musician)at AKM
( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atat%C3%BCrk_Cultural_Center ).
But that's not all. "Young Jazz" closing concert of 2003 Istanbul Jazz Festival ( http://www.iksv.org) at Alchera and
Roxy Music Awards ( http://www.roxy.com.tr/index.asp?id=2 ) at 2003 are also nights and performances to remember. Stage is where I live and belong. And I long for any chance to be there …
A short list of live nights and wild performances would be 2003 "Ericsson Info Day", May-August 2005 Nivea Road Show and LC Waikiki, 2-3rd September 2005 at Cubuklu Hayal Kahvesi, January-October 2006 Arnavutkoy Level and Kurucesme Escape, June – July 2006 for Avon Summer Road shows.
What's more to say? I shouldn't brag about myself. So I'll let my work do the showing off . Acted in TV series (Lise Defteri)in 2004 and arranged the music for 2 episodes. Composed a tribute and created a video for our great leader Ataturk, which was shown in local channels such as CNN Turk, Kanalturk. Attended TV shows as talented young musician in May 2006.
Soundtracks, productions, new releases are always very very welcome in my studio. As a technology freak I dig to combine new technology with my work. Visual effects and technology are my favorite instruments for my stage show and I like to mix tradition Turkish music instruments with contemporary music
Good music, yeah! Especially the drum-/loop-programmings are really great, fat sound! Which samples do you use for the orchestra percussions and drums?
