Elmwood Village Downtown Playgroup is an idea that I have had ever since our son was born almost 3 years ago. My husband and I own Off The Wall Restaurant and we have an amazing back room that is very kid friendly. I always thought it would be so fun to get together local moms and kids to meet and great and have some fun. As of last week I have been working full time and just never had that extra time to begin a playgroup. Well now that I have left my full time job I can begin one of my dreams. I can now stay at home with my two beautiful children and spend more time at Off The Wall with my amazing husband and organize this playgroup.
EVDP is going to be the last Friday of every month from 10:00-Noon with lunch to follow if you wish. We are going to have different activities each month for the children. On February 23rd we are going to have storytime in Spanish. This is going to be a great way to intoduce Spanish by reading Dora. We have a guest reader and activities to go along with it. Oh, I am soooo bummed! I can't usually do Fridays. That's one of my days to work most weeks. Yuck! I'll try to come when I can and will keep an eye out if play group is happening on other days (Mon, Tues, or Wed).
