Huge Charlie Sheen fan. Yes, I know the guy has problems, but he's a great actor and easy on the eyes, too! Besides, God loves sinners, too. Tae kwon do is awesome. I'm a blue belt, my son is a green-blue belt. It's fun, good exercise, and a good way to get rid of some frustrations! I love music; it's pretty much my life. I sing, play piano/keyboard, tenor sax, flute, oboe, even the accordian when I was a kid. I've been playing the guitar for a couple of years now, but I'm not that great at it. Also I dig movies, golf, getting up to the lake as often as possible (waverunners rock!), swimming, travelling, driving with the top down, rollercoasters, dancing(!!!), cooking & baking, joking around, and just hanging out with good friends.
Am currently listening to just Christian ROCK. There are so many amazing artists out there. Some of my favorites are Ever Stays Red, Radial Angel, Seventh Day Slumber, Esterlyn, POD, 12 Stones, Needtobreathe, Kutless, Sanctus Real, Skillet, Family Force 5, Toby Mac. As for secular music, I like everything except country because it makes my ears bleed. Bon Jovi, Journey, and U2 are probably my all time favorites (yes, I'm a child of the 80's), also Green Day (even though they swear a lot, they rock), the Wallflowers, Sheryl Crow, Bush, Live, Unwritten Law, Matchbox 20, Third Eye Blind, Bryan Adams, 311, Staind, Puddle of Mud, I could go on. I've got a pretty eclectic taste in music, what can I say?

My all time favorite has got to be "So I Married and Axe Murderer"; I can quote pretty much the entire movie. Also, "Forrest Gump" is one of the greatest movies ever made. "Hitch" was pretty sweet (as are ALL Will Smith movies); can't wait for it to come out on DVD. Funny/stupid movies are good, especially when I'm in the mood for something cheesy. Super Troopers is an excellent example of stupid funny (some nudity, though, so I don't recommend it for everybody.) Also, "Strange Brew" and "One Crazy Summer" are hilarious cheesy 80's movies that I love. Adam Sandler movies are all pretty funny, except "Little Nicky"--that was just LAME! I've got pretty close to all of Charlie Sheen's movies 'cause as I've said, I'm a huge fan. I like comedies, chick flicks, dramas, action, scary, everything except the movies that are just gory for the sake of gore and ones with themes of evil that are really just pointless. (What's up with all the "scary" movies now that have that jerky, spastic looking girl from "The Ring"? That same monster has appeared in like 10 movies now. Come on, Hollywood! Think of something original!) By the way, I know there are tons of "Napoleon Dynamite" fans out there...can any of you explain the thing to me? I mean was there ever any sort of actual POINT?
"Friends" was my favorite. :( "Joey" is okay, but it's no "Friends". "Two and a Half Men" rocks, though. Charlie Sheen is hilarious. Gotta watch all the "Law & Order" episodes. One of these days I'll have enough time to watch the ones I have recorded! We're never home, so we don't watch a ton of TV, but I do like it. Also, I know it will sound weird, but I'll confess: I used to be a 90210 junkie. :p
Obviously, the BIBLE is the greatest book ever written, since it is the Living Word of God. You can't read it and not have a meaningful experience. I highly recommend it to everyone! :) Also, I've been reading Stephen King since I was a kid (the books are always better than the movies). It's probably not the most spiritually uplifting stuff, but I guess some habits die harder than others. I am trying to read more Christian based stuff when I have time. Also, I enjoy reading somewhat academic stuff so that my mind doesn't turn completely to mush, i.e. "The Goal" (a managerial accounting novel), "Atlas Shrugged", etc.
Heroes
Jesus Christ! Also, Josh Carlson from Ever Stays Red because he's just about the coolest person I've ever met. And my friend Carol Kahler because she never gives up and she never gets any older.
The University Of Montana-Missoula
Missoula, MONTANA
Graduated: 1999
Degree: Bachelor's Degree
Major: Accounting
Clubs: No, it didn't take me that long to get a 4 year degree. I went on and off. (I was a single mom and had to work to feed my rugrat.)
1988 to 1999
Corvallis High School
Corvallis, MONTANA
Graduated: 1988
Student status: Alumni
Degree: High School Diploma
Major: Tried not to get picked on any more than neccessary
Clubs: This was the worst high school ever. Even a lot of the teachers were jerks. I wouldn't wish that place on my worst enemy. After surviving that place, I have a pretty good idea what hell must be like.
About me: Does anybody else find it hard to talk about themselves on a website? Let's see...what can I say? I'm a single mom to an awesome boy. He's 14! (How did I get so old?!?) We're Christians and very involved in our church. Jesus rocks! If you're not living for Him, you'll never fully live. My rugrat and I also take tae kwon do together. I'm a blue belt (7th Gup) and he's a green-blue belt (6th Gup.) Breaking boards is a blast!
My great love is music. I'm a singer and I play piano, tenor sax, flute, oboe, accordian (yikes!), and I'm trying to learn the guitar. I'm a karaoke junkie, but don't get to go very often. There really aren't any good places around here, anyway. I'm currently in the middle of recording some Christian music...some covers and some originals. It's a very exciting project!
I also am very passionate about accounting. (Strange combo, eh? I'm nothing if not eclectic!) I loved my accounting classes so much that I changed my major when I was at U of M. I currenlty do bookkeeping for a local company that I LOVE!!! They call me "the Princess" because, duh!!!
Who I'd like to meet: It would be nice to meet my husband one of these days. I'm hoping he exists! Besides that, I like meeting all kinds of new people. People fascinate me and I get along with almost everybody. Girlfriends who aren't catty and competetive are awesome, so I'm always up for meeting other uplifting women. I also get along well with men. My whole life, most of my friends have been men. It would be nice to find one who doesn't think I'm one of the guys, though... :)
