Commentary
It’s very seldom that people encounter truly talented folk in one’s lifetime. Through the years, I’ve been very fortunate to work with and to know one personally. He’s an artist/songwriter/producer with extraordinary creative prowess blessed by God with the gift of music.
It’s hard to classify his sound other than saying that he is in a class of his own. He sings verses with stellar rhythmic sense, absolute control, and tremendous soul to a point that his spirit is magnified with every musical phrase that he delivers.
The songs that he writes are not your typical run-of-the-mill clichéd matters. Instead he writes with so much consciousness yet his subject matter is simple and relatable. In an age when most of the songs you hear are of the garden variety, you’ll be refreshed by his thematic approach to song topics.
He’s also one of the finest producers that I’ve ever worked with. Most producers use an extremely incestuous approach to song production that anything they create ends up sounding like everything else. Instead he uses a completely organic approach to song production - pure and unfiltered musical goodness inevitably bringing you to a pleasurable state.
Although I may think of his talent in high regard, he’s a humble person who approaches music with grace and dignity. He’s your down-to-earth boy next door who’ll never brag about what he’s capable of. He lets his music speak for itself. That’s why I am proud of my boy, my bro, but most of all, my friend, and he goes by the name of EBRAHIM. - Francois
