The band was created in Sept. 1999 with Bertrand Oria (drums), Kathy Coupez (guitars, clean & harsh vocals), Carine Pochet (keyboards), Igor Landorique (guitars, harsh vocals) & Jeremy Mairesse (bass guitar). Each of them combined their various influences (technical death, brutal death, melodic or atmospheric metal, HxC, power-metal...) to create a unique DYLATH-LEEN style.

Then DYLATH-LEEN enters the scene with the [Insecure] album.

Recorded and mixed in renowned studios such as the LB Lab (S.Buriez Loudblast) and the Impuls Studios (S.Kraemer Gojira, Carcariass), this brand new professional production gives the band's musicians the opportunity to reveal all their talent.

Composed of five members having numerous influences, DYLATH-LEEN takes us to Melodic Death-Metal of which originality lies in the alchemy of 2 surprising singings : female vocals alternating growls (Death / Thrash and Power) and spellbinding clear voices, and male-deep-Death-Metal vocals.

These 2 main assets, accompanied with ethereal keyboards, original bass lines, loud and technical drums and "Carcass-influenced" guitars, give DYLATH-LEEN its enraged, tormented and atmospheric style which has already convinced many followers.
