About me: So, I haven't updated the "About Me" section of my Myspace, as well as many other areas, obviously. Let's start with the basic things about myself: I am the oldest of four children, at age 18. I absolutely love my family, God and friends. Family and God comes first before anything, however. I love to ice skate and teach or coach people how to skate as well. I am a hockey skater, not a figure skater. Currently I don't play hockey as often as I would like, but I do play it. I am liking college so far and am looking forward to summer school, which will consist of a U.S. History and an Economics class. I also enjoy going to the gym to lift weights and strive to get stronger and in better shape. In addition to the gym, I also am into amateur boxing as well as a bit of grappling. I usually spar in boxing once a week and it helps relieve stress. I have obviously become fascinated by the dazing and dynamic experience of boxing. I am also a musician. I have played the violin since the sixth grade and I have played at multiple venues around town with my brother and Mento Buru, which is an kick-ass salsa band. Joining the BC Orchestra is also a must before I get all my general classes out of the way. I strive to maintain balance in life, even though I have my obvious imbalances. I go by my favorite quote I came across this year in college stated by the philosopher, Socrates: "The unexamined life is not worth living." I'm usually very quiet, depending on where you meet me, but I will introduce myself to you if I want to try to start a conversation. Just feel free to get to know me, is all I can say... :)
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone famous, yet humble. I can't stand snobbiness.
This is the beginning of a new day, God has given me this day to use as i will. I can waste it or i can use it for good. What i do today is important because i am exchanging a day of my life for it. When tomorrow comes this day will be gone forever, leaving in its place something that i have traded for it. I want it to be gained not lost, good not evil, success not failure. In order not to regret the price i paid for it. May i have sufficient wisdom and courage that this shall be my record for the day.
I'm learning a lot. It is not easy surviving on pay check to pay check that pay hourly. I should be appreciative I never been so focused. I have thousands of goals each morning, afternoon and prayer at night. Until you finally leave your comfort zone will you FEEL alive.
Please take a moment to relax your mind and humble your heart to focus on Christ. Allow God to be the only person on your mind while you read this prayer. If we can take the time to read long jokes, stories, etc, we should give the same respect to this prayer. Friends, who pray together, stay together. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through Your eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, le t me repent, and confess with my mouth of my wrongdoing, and receive forgiveness. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others
