About me:
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Wife to one man... mother to three boys, one dog, two cats, and several fish. I like makin' pretty stuff and lookin' at pretty stuff that other people make.

I've always loved creating things... cross stitching and what not. A few years ago, I decided to make some little dolls with cross stitched faces and one thing led to another.

I realized that the sketches that I was making of doll ideas were just as cute (and less time-consuming) as the dolls themselves. Lately I've mostly been working with acrylics on wood and canvas, and with prismacolors on bristol board.

Hope you enjoy looking at my work even half as much as I enjoy creating it.

Thanks for the add!

Nice profile! Did you take a look at mine yet?

Also, were you asking me how I was doing with the survey program?

I am STILL making $300 to $500 per day, so it is going very well!

All you have to do is complete online surveys that take you about 20-30 minutes to do.
That's it... That's all there is to it...

Take a look when you get a chance....

i found this for you about designing greeting cards for Designing for the Greeting Card Industry

There is no set industry standard rate of pay for greeting card artists. There are a number of different ways an artist can be paid by publishers. It can either be made on a per design or range basis. These include:

* Flat Fee - the publisher makes a one off payment to the artist for ownership of a design for an unlimited period. The fee can be anything from £150-£250 for one design, with a sliding scale coming into play for more than one design.
* Licensing Fee - this grants the publisher the right to use artwork for specified types of products and for a specified number of years, after which the full rights revert to the artist. Artists are paid in the region of £150 + per design for this.
* Licensing Fee + Royalty - similar to above, but also with a royalty payment on each card sold. Artists would generally receive £100+ licensing fee plus 3% of trade price of each card sold.
* Advance Royalty Deal - the artist is paid a goodwill advance on royalties. In the case of a range, the artist would receive a goodwill advance of say £500-£1,000 and 5% additional royalty payment once the threshold is reached.
* Royalty Only - the artist will receive regular royalty payments based on the number of cards sold. Royalties are generally paid quarterly. Artists should expect a sales report and royalty statement.
when i saw your work i thought that this freelance job would be great for you i look up to you sweetie

- Become a Freelance Greeting Card Artist

If you're a photographer, a painter, or caricature artist...you could become a freelance greeting card artist. Some companies hand out assignments, while others accept submissions based on your own taste and creativity.

There is some unpredictability to be expected in this industry, as assignments can become few and far between. You'll also need acquire a thick skin for rejections. But there is good news for the freelance greeting card artist:

Greeting card artist jobs can pay anywhere from $50 to several hundred dollars per freelance job.

Arm yourself with some good reference materials on how to submit your freelance artwork work to greeting card companies (see the recommended resources below). Here's some more online marketing tips and ideas:

- Join some freelance artists groups for great advice and leads. Do a search on your favorite search engine for a freelance greeting card artist's message boards or visit Yahoo Groups to find some email groups or search your favorite search engine for artist's communities.

- Try marketing your art to smaller greeting card companies, where the pay may be lower, but the competition may not be so fierce. This will help you get a feel for how to write for and market yourself to greeting card companies.

- Always be knowledgeable about the original work submission guidelines: Some companies don't accept unsolicited work. Some provide assignments and some allow you to be creative in your original submissions. Companies also have different guidelines for submission formats (i.e. electronic / print).
