Sounds Like
Lately, This How I Lay Down The Shizzle:
I write a tune on the banjo then arrange a fruity electronic setting, adding keyboards, drums, bass and sometimes mandolin.
He started off playing blues guitar in the local theme pub circuit, and after teaching himself to play the banjo and keyboards he quickly graduated into the heady world of the home recording enthusiast.
It was whilst studying painting in Dundee, that he developed an idea that would consolidate his musical consciousness and lead to his greatest discoveries:
The Dub Grotto is a semi imaginary, meditative headspace.
Part Recording Studio, part Dreamscape, its here, where The Dub Chieftain receives his ideas.
These messages from The Dub Grotto interbreed with his interest in weird electronica, mythology, novelty records, circuit bending, improvised noise and traditional music to make what he affectionately calls: "tunes"
These days The Dub Chieftain is located in the south side of Glasgow and plays gigs on his own and with friends. He likes to meet up with people from the Internet and perform in other parts of the Britain and occasionally Europe.

This will be the second coming of Christ. to Tronic, after his glorious appearance in the spring of 2007. Christ.'s talent for gliding intimate analogue synth sounds over delicate broken beats amid lush soundscapes and haunting vocal samples has established him as an Eno-esque downtempo master. Music beautifully simple and organic, very much outside the confines of modern electronica.
Like the prodigal son, Dextro returns to Glasgow in July to join Christ, Araya and The Lava Experiments in a night showcasing the best of Scottish electronic.

Respect! Very very cool stuff you have going on here. Love your myspace. Like it like it liiiiike it. Great taste and what flavour. Thanks for the add and your interest. I thought you might like to know that I have posted new videos for new fusion mixes. One that has just gone up is a radical combo of Rihanna with a dollop of Peter, Bjorn and John. Rebooted, filtered, animated, shaken, cut, pasted and smashed with a great hammer, deconstructed and turned into Young Folks with Umbrella. Another newey mixes Coldplay and Kraftwerk and if that's not enough there's a new tune called Scooby Mama which moulds Fun Lovin Criminals to a Scissor Sisters. There's more fusion mix foolishness on the myspace which is being updated with new tunes and vids regularly. Thanks again for the add and your interest. Love and Peace. Sex Dwarf. And remember...don't do genre.
