"DRY is one of West-Central Illinois' tightest and hardest working 3 piece bands...consisting of a well versed and talented singing guitar player, an incredibly tight and focused drummer and a rare breed 12-String bass player that, shall we say, can cover the sonic duties of 3 men!
Originally formed in 1995, the band has stayed active with founding member Sean Kistler, who is the principal songwriter and guitarist. A few bass players and drummers have come and gone..but the final line-up of Sean Kistler, Brandon Merry and Jim Morgan began in Oct. 1998 and continues to this day.
Playing their own original compositions, along with plenty of classic and contemporary standards(with their own original flare!), DRY can be heard playing almost any weekend throughout the year in the Illinois-Iowa-Missouri region...(and a few places a day or two away.) Currently the band has recorded 33 original tunes on 4 CD's.. and 3 live DVD's.=====
Focusing mainly on great musicianship...(no shock-value!..they prefer to speak through their instruments), the band delivers a well-rounded set of music that is always well received...Basically, extremly tight and aggressive Rock....without the Ego's..........(or Eggo's, which ever you prefer!)"~~~~~~
The pleasure is all ours...there is too much talent to let it fall by the wayside and go unpromoted in the Gburg area...just like you have been there for us, we are here for you guys if you ever need anything.
Hey, Just wanted to say it was good seeing you at the store the other day. You look great as for me I was a little embarrassed cause I didn't do my hair and shit do to the water my boyfriend was like who was that lol anyway's good to see you later Trish
Hey no problem Brandon. You guys are always so much fun to watch. I wish every band had as much fun playing as you guys do.
I will catch you again sometime. It's hard with the kids. It seems like Friday is about the only night I get out and no bands play on Friday. Too bad there werent more people there, but Oh well, it all pays the same and we enjoyed our selves.
Take care. We will try to get down on the 4th and see you again.
