Sounds Like
Music - Borrows heavily from Indian music, Hindi film music, jazz (to the extent that we can play), and contemporary hits. There are often instrumental parts that are not particularly adaptable to a lyrical song structure.
ok enough negative stuff about my old band. I have gotten around to recording some stuff finally. I hope to record a full EP this year, and not worry so much about keeping a band together. I was working on some other tracks in my former project, but I’m not going to post those since I don’t have exclusive rights to them. The song flight risk, is only guitar right now, and later it will have drums and bass.
In addition to hanging out w/ my squirrel homies (just handed out some walnuts a moment ago) I've been writing more music. Been playing more cello too. FUN!
I've been celebrating the holidays in a myriad of interesting ways, the least of which is certainly not sharing ten pounds of southern pecans with the local squirrels. Love those guys! There are 6 or 7 red and grey ones in my folks' yard (we're up visiting them in Chicagoland) and those fuzzy li'l dudes come right up to my feet. Awww!
Anyway, happy new year to you--I hope that 2008 will treat you wonderfully.

Thanks for your MySpace friendship. You guys are pretty interesting. I like the idea of your including Hindi-inspired licks "just to freak people out." :*)
