About me:
Dr. Keira is the founder of a dynamic annual conference for women, the Women’s Empowerment Conference (WEC) held at the Living Waters Destiny Center in Newport News. The WEC is a unique gathering of apostolic and prophetic women with vital Kingdom of God assignment. Each year women gather to receive the life changing and revelatory teaching of Dr. Keira Taylor-Banks and her guest speakers. Conference attendees come from as far as India and Nigeria.
Dr. Keira is a visionary leader who founded the Lily Housing Corporation (LHC) in 2001. The LHC is a non-profit faith-based ministry providing transitional housing to women with children in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Dr. Keira is a dynamic mentor and a gifted leadership teacher/trainer who imparts spiritual and character development through revelatory Biblical teaching.
Dr. Keira Taylor-Banks is a native of Freeport, Long Island, New York. Prior to full-time employment in Christian ministry, Dr. Keira was a certified teacher for the State of Virginia (1988-1997). Her last teaching assignment was with the Talented and Gifted Program (TAG) of Newport News Public Schools. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood/Middle School Education from Virginia Union University (1988). She is a graduate of Kingdom University, Chancellor, Dr. Cindy Trimm (2007). She holds a Masters of Biblical Studies (MBS) and an earned Doctor of Ministry degree (D.Min.) from Friends International Christian University of Merced, California, 2007.
Dr. Keira is a sought after conference speaker and has encouraged thousands of women through the Word of God nationally and internationally. In March of 2006 Dr. Keira traveled to Chennai, India and served as the keynote speaker at a Women’s Conference ministering powerfully through an interpreter while transforming lives through the Word of God. In March of 2007 Dr. Keira traveled to Lagos, Nigeria and served as keynote speaker for a special Women’s Conference hosted by Global Harvest Church in Ibadan. stevenwbanks.org

Dr. Keira, Thank-you & Bishop for the Leadership Celebration. That was awesome. I have never expreienced true spiritual parenthood in pastors until I came to the "Waters". You guys are great.
