About me:
DOUGIE’S ON THE RUN COMES TO BALTIMORE
Kosher Food in Places You Never Thought Possible
Dougie’s on the Run will be a Glatt Kosher restaurant on wheels serving the Baltimore area. This is a kosher and high quality twist on the traditional “lunch wagon” serving the food made famous by Dougie’s BBQ & Grill in New York. In the large and active Baltimore Jewish community, Dougie’s On the Run will fulfill needs on many different fronts.
Although the majority of the kosher crowd lives in or around the Pikesville area, many people work outside a comfortable distance to kosher dining at lunchtime. Dougie’s on the Run will have a schedule of lunchtime operations in various business districts throughout the week. Potential locations include Downtown Baltimore, Woodlawn, Owings Mills, and Pikesville. Locations will remain consistent from week to week and will be listed on all advertisements, as well as the web site, which is currently under development.
Dougie’s on the Run will also be operating on a regular basis at dinnertime a few nights each week in the Pikesville area, with days and times to be advertised.
At other times, Dougie’s on the Run will be available for private parties and other special events including, but not limited to, fairs, festivals, fundraisers, and even corporate events. The company plans to give back to the community by donating part of the proceeds from fundraising events to the school and/or non-profit organization hosting the event.
The start of business operations is anticipated before the end of October.
