There are no revolutions
A so-called gypsy punk band from Troy, NY. We all go to RPI. We like playing at GZ at RPI, and in Troy, sometimes sanctioned for Troy Night Out or at the TNO afterparty, sometimes on a streetcorner borrowing power from a friendly storefront. We'll play anywhere as long as we can get there.

"Now running steadily at over 10 [nearing 20...] members, Dostoevsky's Pistols, led by Kyle McDonald, are an answer to the rise in 'gypsy-punk' bands, as coined by Gogol Bordello's Eugene Hutz. The Pistols further experiment with this blending of genres, splicing eastern european culture and music with punk, post rock, and dance music, resulting in a fresh, upbeat, totally fun experience. Featuring Peter Paggi on accordion, there really is no reason NOT to love this band.
