It all began in December 2005 when GIZZ BUTT (ex PRODIGY live guitar player, ex ENGLISH DOGS, currently THE MORE I SEE) and OJ BADER (founder of Superhero Records out of Berlin) decided to record a hardcore album. They both became friends when touring with THE MORE I SEE years ago.
Gizz wrote 9 amazing songs while Bader searched for the perfect drummer. He immediately thought of a very talented friend he previously toured with in the past -- ROBIN GUY (who has played for BRUCE DICKINSON, FAITH NO MORE, LARS FREDERIKSEN and THE BUSINESS). During the Punk & Disorderly Festival in January 2006 they recorded 3 days worth of electrifying guitars and pounding drums at Luc..s MACH SCHNELL STUDIO in Berlin. ROBIN had never even heard the songs before and recorded all drum sounds in 2 days between 2 live sets with CHEMICAL KAOS and one with THE BUSINESS!!!
While working in the studio, Bader introduced the two English fellas from Petersborough and London to a local Berlin bassist named VOLKAN TÜRELI (ex DEVIL INSIDE/currently JAYLAN)… and so they found the perfect bass player. After the 3-day recording session, Bader sent a rough mix of all songs to his friend SHUTTA in Sofia, Bulgaria (ex VENDETTA/currently BROTHERS IN BLOOD and SHE WAS ASKIN FOR IT). Shutta came up with some great lyrics and recorded a song on vocals together with RICK TA LIFE (from 25 TA LIFE) in Sofia.
During the World Cup in June 2006 Gizz and Shutta flew to Berlin and recorded in Dean Rosensweig’s Studio together with Volkan to record bass, vocals and guitar overdubs.
Also at that session , Gizz’s long standing friend "C" vocalist from X DOUBLE MINUS and respected hip hop rapper came and sang excellent vocals on "Love is dead in Metropolis" adding even more dimension to the sound.
Studio Wong mixed the whole album and in the end famous producer ANDY SNEAP mastered it!
The CD will be out on 23rd February 2007 on Swell Creek / Superhero Records.
Special Guests on the Album are Kid D from the Ryker..s who wrote and sang the whole lyrics of “Cruel World”, Sal (Sworn Enemy), Bruce (100 Demons), Rick (25 Ta Life / Comin Correct) & Burkhard (Hate Squad)
