The core of Done Gone is Jake Carver, Seattle-based singer/songwriter. The self-titled solo acoustic CD Done Gone recorded with Scott Ross at Elliott Bay Recording is available for sale at CD Baby.
Born in North Dakota and coming of age when one wore the waists of one's jeans almost to the rib cage, Jake wandered throughout most of the 90s from Alaska down to Texas and up to Oregon, finally settling into Seattle around the turn of the millennium.
The songs on Done Gone are both about him and not. "I suppose they are like funhouse mirror reflections, a chance to experience another life for a few minutes at a time." He is now writing and honing more material for a future release and working with other musicians to create a broader sound. Watch the Upcoming Shows section for information on live performances.
