My Style: I like to play lots of music in a short period of time. Scratching is what got me into DJing, so I scratch lots during my sets. Hip hop is my love, but I like all sorts of music. When you see/hear me play I cover a bunch of different genres of music......well that also depends on the crowd, gig, and venue. Types of music you might hear at one of my gigs includes, but not limited to....HipHop/Funk/Disco/Retro Pop/Electro/B-More/Classic Rock/Mash-up. Ive been listening to music of all genres forever. First album bought: Stevie Wonder. I think i was like 5. I loved run dmc and the beastie boys, but when i heard 2 Live Crew i thought that was the funniest shit ever. I was hooked to anything hip hop/rap: west coast, east cost, gangsta, conscious, those bass tapes(dj magic mike). Started out with a crap Gemini Dj package in 1998. It was discouraging, until i played on some 1200s. At that exact moment I became an addict. You really have to practice to be great. With such a hectic schedule there were times when the tables went untouched. Nowadays i try to dedicate a little time to the tables everyday. Ive done some shows, clubs, and tons of house parties. Some shows that I've been fortunate to be a part of: Method Man w/RZA, Inspecta Deck, Masta Killa (Wu-Tang Clan), Guru (Gangstarr), Boot Camp Click, Sach (The Nonce), 2Mex (Visionaries), Insight, Blueprint (Soul Position, Rhymesayers), Akil (Jurassic 5), PSC and The Grouch (Living Legends), Psyche Origami (ATL), Cali Agents (Planet Asia & Rasco)....and probably a few more. Platform or not i will be a dj til death do us part.
