Heavily influenced by my father listening to Adam and the Ants, The Human League, New Order and 60’s Psychedelic acts, I was introduced to electronic music via Primal Screams’s Andrew Weatheral produced “Screamadelica” in 1991. This was a defining moment for me at a young age to discover an album that would have such an influence on my life and outlook on music to come.
Living outside London amongst a rave scene in 92-95 and hearing of parties on the local pier headed by The Prodigy and Altern 8, I was desperate to be old enough to be a part of something what would eventually lead me to take up playing two records together.
Now based in London I am a resident at Shoreditch’s T Bar, Durrr and appear regularly at Bugged Out! With a music style of great depth ranging from New Wave, Acid House and Disco to Electronic House and techno.
I have also been heavily involved in the booking and promotion of up and coming bands and Djs including: Riton (Gucci Soundsystem), The New Adventures, Rory Phillips (Trash), The Neat People, The Noisettes, The Lovely Jonjo (Trash/Durr),Get Shakes, Shiny Toy Guns, Gucci Soundsystem, Theoretical Girl, The Riotous Rockers, The Leatherettes, Mr Cormac (Trailer Trash), Casper C (Fluokids), Silverlink, Trash Fashion, Bono Must Die, Phil Kieren and Erol Alkan
I have also played alongside acts including Klaxons, Simian Mobile Disco,Pilooski,Jojo De Freq, Stuart Patterson, Cut Copy, D.I.M. Padded Cell, Tiefscwarz; Regular gigs at Bugged Out with Digitalism, Erol Alkan,Mylo,Williams,John Dahlback, Feadz, Simian,Jon Carter, Boys Noize, Tiga and more
