After such a positive response at Beat Boutique,
I felt it was time for me to put together a proper techno mix!
Using my OCD to it's full potential, I spent over 2 weeks going through hundreds of different tracks and finalizing the programming.
I'm one of those dj's who seriously enjoys creating playlists, using a wide range of criteria to narrow my choices (one of many reasons why I love my Mac & iTunes).
So, here's a punchy mix of seriously throbbing techno tunes...
Joseph Martin first entered into the Okanagan dance scene in January of 1998, and played his first set one year later at "Ravermaze" in Kamloops, British Columbia. "I started buying vinyl after my first party, mainly because that was the best way to get a hold of the new music I loved so much, and we all know vinyl sounds the best!" He released his first mix tape as "DJ Aero" 6 months later. "I used the moniker "DJ Aero" for my first three years of playing, picked quite randomly from the chocolatey treat of the same name...eventually, I knew that I didn..t want to make a distinction between myself and an artist name, so I now use my first & middle names, Joseph Martin."

Joseph also ran "The Shakedown", a weekly internet radio broadcast for 3 consecutive years, featuring over 80 dj's from across Canada.
