chad’s interest in dance music came at a very early age. influenced by 2 very cool older brothers’ record collections, he was remixing with 2 tape decks and a casio keyboard before he owned his first CD. tracks by new order, depeche mode, the cure... and later by the first moby album, the prodigy experience, and early rave culture, shaped chad’s interest in both melodic progression as well as edgy breaks. chad graduated hobart college in 2000 with a music theory degree and lived in los angeles 2000-2004 writing music for tv, film, and advertising. he became known as the ’electronic music’ guy for numurous projects and clients, and eventually collaborated with pop star jennifer paige to remix and co-produce an EP with damien heartwell. the sessions spawned the beautiful, as yet unreleased single, 100 ways. influenced by the great multitude of progressive, breakbeat, and electro-house producer/DJs in the UK - chad has been consistently producing peak-time tracks - and was recently signed with chicago’s bad advice records. a 2 year stay in chicago introduced him to his wife nicole - as well as a strong underground breakbeat scene. now with san francisco as his new home, chad has immersed himself in what is perhaps the most fertile scene in the US. be on the look-out for DJ sets in which chad always blends his own tracks with a signature electro sound that intermixes breaks and house.
Hey Chad! Congrats on the move ... NY is a lot of fun.
Just wanted to let you know that I uploaded 3 new tunes up on my myspace player... just curious to see what you think of them... whenever you have time. :-)
I'm looking over a four leaf clover, that I overlooked before. One is for sunshine, the other for rain, third for the roses that bloom in the lane. Check out this old gem my friend.... we need to watch this together again.... http://youtube. com/watch?v=LMyzCJpULCQ&feature=related

a reach, the curl, oh and very nice probe....oh yes a very nice probe. And who could forget Brown #5, proudly brought to you by The Uranus Corporation.
Hot damn...your track is wicked hot! No detailed analysis yet as I'm tired... listened to it twice and I love it. I love how you really use the stereo field to make the track sound so full and the staccato (for the lack of a better word) approach to give the bassline the ability to integrate with the drums. Well done!
