About me:
DJ Bonehead is a soldier in the war against stagnant sounds and musical apathy. He believes that the world is in a place that can only benefit from different sounds, a family vibe and an open mind.
With 13 years experience as a professional DJ and an avid music collector for many years prior, DJ Bonehead is a lifelong pursuer of musical experimentation through all forms of quirky, jazzy, soulful sounds.
He has set the tone for many great DJs and Producers during his performances and residencies in Dallas, San Francisco, Portland, Denver, Seattle, Miami and New York as well as his current bookings in Austin, Texas with his sights set firmly on the future.
He describes his sound as Downtempo and Beyond... Downtempo, Rare Groove, Broken Beats and all elements of Deep House music with little bit of jazz, a lot of soul and a touch of everything else thrown in between.
Bonehead resides in Austin, Texas and spends his creative free time both promoting and participating in weekly and one-off events at many local hot spots. He also hosts The Landing Pad, a weekly Sunday internet radio show on myhouse-yourhouse that showcases "Eclectic Sounds in Various Forms" and Head's Up with DJ Bonehead, a weekly Monday show that focuses on Deep House Sounds.
