Sagittarius November 22 - December 21
Sagittarius, the ninth Sign of the Zodiac, is the home of the wanderers of the Zodiac.
Astrologers broadly agree that the following are the characteristics of Sagittarius:
The Sagittarius person is always happy with a positive outlook on life. They are extroverted, straightforward, benevolent, with a good sense of humor. They are strong-willed, open-minded, fun-loving, adventurous, sexual, and optimistic. The Sagittarian is known to be blunt, aggressive, restless, and rebellious. They are freedom-loving and dislike being tied down domestically. Sagittarians are often detached from emotions because emotions hold a person back. They don’t dwell on things because it is a waste of their energy.
Their minds are constantly open to new dimensions of thought. There is also a side of the Sagittarian that is quite superstitious, and reading into signs and portents would not be uncommon. Their strongly idealistic natures can also suffer many disappointments without being affected. They love to initiate new projects (they make excellent researchers and are very organized) and have an urge to understand conceptions that are new to them. They think rapidly, are intuitive and often original.
As listed above, the Sagittarius has several good qualities, but with a few serious flaws. The Sagittarius's dual natures, that of the beast (aggressive, rebellious, sexual, free-roaming, etc.) and the higher nature (philosophical, open-minded, honest etc.) are said to be in constant conflict.
Sagittarian element sign is fire. Fire signs are naturally warm. A fire gives light and heat, but it doesn't get depleted as others feed on its warmth.
About me: My hobbies keep me very busy but you can see by my page that my heart belongs to the Confederacy. I am also a member of the DAR and love Revolutionary War re-enactments too. I enjoy paranormal research which explains the strange combination of subject matter on this page. I am member of Southern Paranormal Researchers (southernparanormalresearchers.org). I serve as the Human Resources Manager, Editor, and a Lead Investigator. Our team travels throughout the Southeast to research paranormal activity and document our findings. I am also on a Bunco team with the greatest group of girlfriends anyone could ever have. I research genealogy and have written several books. I volunteer at the VA, I clean old graves, and inventory cemeteries to be placed on line. I don't cater much anymore but desserts are still my specialty. I have one son, 22, who is away at college. Belle, my puppy, is my replacement child that I got when Jarett moved to Auburn. I have always lived in Montgomery but have traveled to some wonderful places. Some of my favorites are Charleston, Savannah, New Orleans, San Antonio, the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, and Mexico. I have lived a fairly charmed life with a great family and wonderful friends. I love all sports but especially SEC football. My favorite music would be from bands like Metallica, Nirvana, Seether, Creed, but I love Journey (Steve Perry) too. I appreciate just about any type of music and love to go to the theatre. Montgomery has the beautiful Shakespeare Festival and a great museum. My favorite movie is Gone With The Wind. I meditate regularly and enjoy moon rituals. I strongly believe that if I am at peace with myself I can be a happy, positive, and grounded person. I perform meditations and aura cleansings for my friends. I believe in karma and try to live my live accordingly.
