Drummer and Percussionist Demian Arriaga graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2004. He has had the privilege of performing with: GARY CHERONE (Extreme, Van Halen, famous for the song MORE THAN WORDS), RUBEN BLADES, JUAN LUIS GUERRA, LEO MELLACE, RBD (rebelde), EGUIE CASTRILLO (Tito Puente),SYSTEM CREW & DJ MAD PROBLEMA, CHARLES HAYNES (Me'shell Ndegeocello), MARIO REYES (Gypsy Kings), SEAN ERIC (Mary J. Blige), REIKO NAKANO (Kelly Clarkson), MICHAEL DUFFY (Ozomatli), NIKI HARIS (MADONNA), among many others. He has performed countlessly in Boston, New York and his new home of Los Angeles as well as his native city of Caracas. Last Novemeber his "LATIN GROOVE DUO" Yuki & Demian were invited to perform at the prestigious FESTIVAL DE JAZZ DEL HATILLO in CARACAS, VENEZUELA.
Since his arrival to the west coast, Demian has collaborated with GIRTH, KARINA WARE, SON SOLES, SELENA GARCIA, JULIEN and many others.
He has recorded with Venezuelan pop legend YORDANO, ska/punk leading band STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO, down tempo artist KARINA WARE, Venezuelan pop artist RICKY PERNIA, as well as doing percussion for BUICK commercials running nationally.
He is a current faculty member for the Paul Green's SCHOOL OF ROCK IN HOLLYWOOD.
