I really enjoy sleeping. I also like to hang out, jam with people, and have a good time. There is not enough time in the world to jam.
I have a huge fascination with the night sky. For me, seeing meteorites are the equivalent of a child seeing Santa Claus.
Besides music, I enjoy the work of artists Salvador Dali, Alex Grey, and Storm Thorgerson.

I work & sleep. When I'm not doing that, I'm usually working on music. I listen to a lot of music as well. Currently, I'm really into Autolux, Kyuss, Earth, Sons of Otis, The Hidden Hand, Spirit Caravan, Goatsnake, Meshuggah, Egypt, The Melvins, Peter Green, Black Sabbath, Pentagram, Grails, Om, Ufomammut, Shora, and Red Sparowes. I'm also recently discovering great 70s bands such as Buffalo, Nektar, Captain Beyond, Sir Lord Baltimore, etc. I enjoy playing guitar, bass, piano, and drums. I would like to learn how to play violin and sitar. One day I would also like to invest in vintage synthesizers. I'd really love to land a job in the music industry. It'd be awesome to work for a classic rock station or a recording studio. I also would like to work for NASA in some way or another.
I play bass in Face on Mars, a creation of my friend, Drew Kern. The best way I can describe it is rockin' stoner metal with elements of classic heavy rock (Black Sabbath/Pentagram/Pink Floyd) combined with the sound of loud spacey sludge (Melvins/KYUSS/Sleep/UFOmammut). We have an EP coming out next month that I am producing and engineering. Check us out at THE TAVERN on FRIDAY OCTOBER 17TH with OL SCRATCH!
In 2005, I engineered, mixed, and produced Dead End Yesterdays, a 6 track EP for my friend James Tangman. I also play bass on four tracks. It was a lot of fun putting something together, and for the resources we had, it was quite an accomplishment. Check out his myspace to listen.
I have a few influences in my bass playing, particularly my tone. They are: Justin Chancellor (Tool), Paul D'Amour (Tool),Jeff Caxide (ISIS), Scott Reeder (Kyuss), Mike Inez (Alice In Chains), Audie Pitre (Acid Bath), John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Cliff Burton (Metallica), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Al Cisneros (Om, Sleep), Tim Commerford (Rage Against the Machine). I'm all about AMPEG, SUNN, & ACOUSTIC CONTROL amps. I love fuzz, MORLEY wahs, and basically any phaser.

"We are surprised and very happy to have the support of Dr Pepper with our album "Chinese Democracy," as for us, this came totally out of the blue. If there is any involvement with this promotion by our record company or others, we are unaware of such at this time. And as some of Buckethead's performances are on our album, I'll share my Dr Pepper with him.
Saturday, March 29, 2008 No Dr. Pepper for Buckethead?!?! Strange news of the week: Dr. Pepper will give every U.S. resident a can of their soda if Guns N' Roses actually releases "Chinese Democracy" in 2008. Only two U.S. residents are excluded from the offer: Buckethead and Slash. I think KFC should one-up them and give everyone a bucket if the album comes out. You can check out Spin's article if you care.

50 Cent no longer supports Clinton Posted: 05:13 PM ET
50 Cent says he was impressed with Obama's speech on race. (CNN) – Hillary Clinton appears to have lost a high-profile backer to rival Barack Obama.
Rapper 50 Cent, who told Time magazine last September he was supporting the New York senator's White House bid, now says he has decided to shift his allegiance to Obama.
The multi-platinum star, born Curtis Jackson, told MTV News Friday that Obama's recent speech on race was the deciding factor for his decision.
"I heard Obama speak," he said. "He hit me with that he-just-got-done-watching-'Malcolm X,' and I swear to God, I'm like, 'Yo, Obama!'
"I'm Obama to the end now, baby!"
But the musician also admitted he's lost interest in the protracted Democratic race, and may not support either candidate.
"To be honest, I haven't been following that anymore. I lost my interest," he said. "I listened to some of the debates and things that they were saying, and I just got lost in everything that was going on…Don't look for my vote, for me to determine nothing on that. Just say, '50 Cent, he don't know, so don't ask Fiddy.'
He also said he didn't think the country is ready for a black pres
