Once upon atime, Alejo García Méndez (harpsichord and electronic keyboards player) andLeopoldo Pérez Robledo (lute, viola da gamba and jazz guitar player)experienced the stunning fact of being able to travel back to the Past just byplaying early music instruments, thanks to well kept secrets and informationabout early performance techniques and style founded in early manuscripts.

One daythey decided to try electro acoustical instruments, attempting to beat theEarly Music’s and Earth’s gravity, levitate, elevate, propel themselves andtravel through outer space at sonic or even light speed, exploring new worlds,beyond the borders of the Supersonic Milky Way, the same way like did musiciansas Brian Eno, John Scofield and so many other musical space voyagers that theHistory of musical explorations and discoveries gave.

So, Alejoand Leopoldo, in their native place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, just providedof electronic keyboards and guitars, synthesizers, sequencers, samplers,multiple sound processors, computers and a four track analogic recorder (blackbox of the Deep Space sonic-plasmapropelled spaceship they used for these trips), started to travel through thehyper space to beautiful and surprising unknown places in the Universe.

From thevery first day they met in the Deep Space home studio spaceship, having turnedoff all the lights of the room, just illuminated by the soft lights of thedials, screens and LEDs of the electronic equipments and devices, they realizedthat the walls turned transparent, and they were able to see through them,but...the did not see the neighborhood as supposed...they saw amazinglandscapes of unknown worlds...they realized that were traveling through theouter space and time...slowly perceived that they were in Ganymedes, thebiggest moon of Jupiter, and was Dawn in Ganymedes... luckily they recorded intheir binnacle, the four track analogic recorder of the Deep Space sonic-ship, the sound of this amazinglandscape...here in the track # 2...

After thisstunning discovery, they keep on meeting in their studio sonic-spacecraft everyweek through two long, unforgettable and creative years...having theopportunity of being dancing in Saturn’s Savoy Hotel, running the thrillingapproaching to the comet Kohoutek...a really burning persecution...being in asparkling crystal Martian cavern...meeting Nefertiti in Venus (somewhere goesthe dead humans), great queen of the 18th dynasty of Egypt, mainroyal wife of Ajenaton, whose name is translated as “the beauty isarrived”...and guess what...she was in company of another music-star of thePast...Miles Davis...they were in love at last...he was playing on his trumpeta beautiful melody, recorded here in track # 6...
