A film that gives us a rare glimpse into the fascinating mind of the man who created such visionary classics as Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks, Wild At Heart, The Elephant Man and more..
Compiled from over two years of footage, the film is an intimate portrait of Lynch's creative process as he completes his latest film, INLAND EMPIRE. We are with him as he discovers the beauty in ideas, leading us on a journey through the abstract which ultimately unveils his cinematic vision.
The director of the documentary immersed himself in David Lynch's world, living and working at Lynch's home for over two years. His unobtrusive style has captured a personal side of David Lynch not seen before.
The film reveals Lynch not only as one of the most original and compelling directors of contemporary film, but also as an artist who continues to explore and experiment in countless mediums. His enthusiasm is infectious; inspiring us to tap into the well of creativity that Lynch believes we all have.
I hope David hears this new music I found. Each song is a documentary in and of itself. Great "mood" music. I got the EP from iTunes and you can hear more stuff on his MySpace: www. myspace. com/wattssongs
yesterday night I had a dream about you... it was a long dream, like a story...with a beginning and end... one part of the dream I was in a german metro and you was in the driverbox with other people. You was there because of the german Fantsy Film Festival and they showed you how its to drive a german metro. I was one of the passengers and I saw you in the driver box. Some kids were making too loud music and noise and you opened the driver box and said to the kids to be quiet... This was the part of the dream where you was included. It was interesting because I never dreamed of a famous person before.
Thank you very much for the add! I can honestly say for myself the only thing more interesting than watching your movies is watching you while you're making them!

I have seen "Elephant man" 15 times! Your work influences the world. A new narrative and visual language. Saw the exhibition you had in Paris. In some of your early short movies, the soundtrack was already very good!
