| About David Deporis |

Born in New York City, Deporis is a classically trained violinist who swapped the violin and bow for a guitar and notebook. Taking inspiration from 80's punk bands like the Minutemen, Dead Kennedys, Ramones and Black Flag as well as the wondrous and wide cannon of world music, David Deporis is currently putting the finishing touches on his visionary and unique second record "For The Birds and Children," a fiercely non-elitist journey through the backstreets of the mind and the early morning hours, a map of dreams, conflagrations and landscapes stretched out over a compact disc.
