VENUES WE HAVE PERFORMED AT...
(excluding private shows and performances)
North Carolina based black/death/industrial metal masters Dark Autumn officially formed in 2001, arising from the ashes of other projects. Since then, through honorable means, they have become known as one of the top underground extreme bands in the Southeast.
With lyrical topics ranging from chronicles of war, to politics and philosophy, Dark Autumn takes pride in exhibiting a degree of artistic passion and expression in their work that is very uncommon in most extreme music.
Abigor (Travis) originally formed the project to create extreme metal forged with classical and acoustic influences, with a grim atmosphere, hellspawned energy, and lyrics to match.
The band developed and grew in shadows for two years, then unleashed their fury live, performing in front of audiences of up to 700 people.
After gaining attention from several well known regional acts with their powerful stage presence and scene breaking sound, they were offered a deal to record their first demo in 2004, which led to the recording and release of their first full length “Infernal Invocation” in 2005.
They continued to spread their breed of metal across three states, then released their follow up EP, “Pagan Kvlt Terrorism” through Imperial Blasphemy Records in the summer of 2006.
Dark Autumn continued to grow and enlarge their fanbase with the release of two singles, “The Order of the Black Sun” and the predominantly black metal piece “Hurled from the Heavens.”
At this point, Dark Autumn has performed over 60 shows in several states, including performances with such notable bands as Enslaved, Arsis, The Agonist, and Green Carnation.
Currently working on their follow up release to "HONOR THROUGH BLOODSHED" gaining attention from some of the scene’s finest, and reaching more of their ever-increasing fanbase, Dark Autumn plans on conquering more territory and taking the world by storm.
