Kevin	Jul 23 2008 11:42 PM Hey Dan, Everthing from the new album sounds amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy. "I Love America" would make Steve Miller proud. This summer I was working for a more than a month in Sulphur, a very remote town in Oklahoma inside a Chicksaw Indian reservation. Back home in Florida my girl kept telling me how she had Ramshackle Beauty in the cd player of her car and how she was listening to it over and over, rediscovering how good it was. She FedExed me a care package full of goodies from home and surprized me with Ramshackle Beauty in the box. I popped it in my cd player, put on my headphones and walked across a field under a big starry sky listening to Brighton Beach and feeling like she was right next to me. Thanks for the great music.

You still keep in touch with any of the guys from the band.Saw yous a few times when you visited us in the far North and always got a lil banter from yous. Need to dig oot and post some pics hee hee. Must say cannae remember those choons that are online, Loved star spangled banner (that right) and yer madchester feel choons (just cannae mind the names...got a few singles/ 12" in the loft!!)Any chance of releasing some of yer yester year choons bring back some fantastic memories.Loving yer new stuff good tae see yer still throwing oot excellent music. americana-uk	Jul 5 2008 4:06 AM This month we have Regina Spektor with the theme to the film Prince Caspian (but don’t let that put you off, it is really rather wonderful), Mermaid Skeletons with a great song that’s worth it for the chorus alone, the Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir, who are as good as their name if not more so and finally the legendary Chip Taylor with the thought-provoking Former American Soldier. Great listening, and if you like the tracks, buy the albums!
