He had a green card, owned property, paid his taxes, raised and provided for his family, collected social security, voted but was never a US citizen. You ask for amnesty and they say no. Refugio Castillanos : My great-grandmother was the most empathetic and wise woman. She raised her siblings with her father from 9 years old .. her mother passed away. She went on to meet my great-grandfather, marry and have 4 children. From them, yielded 16 grandchildren and now they have around 20 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

About me:
My family will always be first in this life.
Education is the key to freedom.
Patriots are Primitive.
Religion only creates borders.
Capitalism encourages social division.
I am a SENIOR at SDSU where I study English (written expression and comparative literature) so when I graduate I may enter the teaching credential program. And I am minoring in Anthropology.
I want to be a teacher so I can inspire another generation the way I was inspired in high school.
I believe the youth are unaware of the potential they hold and need to be encouraged so they understand that it is ok to do well in school.
Don't take history for granted, it shows mistakes, cover ups and blatant fuck ups. History is relevant in all aspects of everyday life...We had to come from somewhere you know! So it's best to learn from the past.
I believe in doing your best at all times. And I believe in being thankful for every positive opportunity given because somewhere else, someone may not get the same chance.
Don't give up!
