The Digital Arts Entertainment Lab is a multimillion-dollar entertainment research and production facility located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Through industry and university partnerships, DAEL facilitates the creation and testing of digital media content. Winners will be invited to participate in a weekend retreat with industry professionals this November. Professional writers, producers and actors from the industry will critique and workshop the scripts, helping the writer whip their projects into production shape. The idea is to getting everybody's feet wet with the development process. Ideally, this process will create mentoring relationships with LA and NYC professionals that will lead to long term contacts and ultimately will lead the writer on the road to success.
Also, winners will be eligible for the Southeast Media Award...
