While based in Ireland, Dacianos released two short albums,
Mis-showbusiness (2000) and Hold Music (2002). Songwriter Barry Kavanagh later moved to Norway and the current line-up features Norwegian musicians.
The compilation In a Weird Chalet 2004-2006 was released in September 2007.
"Lighthouse Beam" was recorded in October/November 2007 and features Barry Kavanagh on dictaphone, harmonium and voice, with Marie Kvamme on second voice.
"Lucette Visits Celine in Prison" was recorded live at Sound of Mu in Oslo in December 2006 and features Barry Kavanagh on piano tone generator and voice, with Marius Kolbenstvedt on metallophone and Haakon Larsen on drums.
