mixing elements of rock, indie, folk, and downbeat, cyrus has gained increasing notoriety over the years for their artistic sensibilities and passionate approach to music. based in lubbock, texas, the group began playing in the spring of 2001 and released their self-titled debut lp in november 2003. their latest album, source, was entirely recorded and produced by the band itself and released online in december 2007 (physical release: february 2008).
source represents an exciting step forward for the band as they explore new instruments and styles, while maintaining their signature electric/acoustic sound and commitment to artistic authenticity. "delusional," the first track off the album, was recently voted 1 in alternative-rock and 2 among all genres in the march 2008 ourstage.com music competition.

Thanks for the comment Nathan! It is good to hear from you. I would love to hear that version of "the pearl" again. Ah...memories. By the way if you ever need a cello track on the modern version, consider it done(shameless plug). I went to the rockin show at Jake's on Thursday night. I talked to Michael. I wish I had gotten a chance to talk to you, but it had been a rough day. Really rough. Things are better now and I'm glad to see that yall are doing good. Multiple years of playing together will really add some cohesiveness to a band. You guys rocked. Hope to see you soon. Much love!
k, well if Michael is going to be singing the Freddy Mercury part does that mean that he'll also be doing in shirtless and in some really tight leather pants?????????
