What Is CV Fallout? CV Fallout is the youth ministry for Cliffview Church of God in Galax, VA. Led by Pastor Tony Smith, our services are attention-grabbing, Bible-based messages that relate to the youth of today (high school students 7th grade and up) and how the life, death, resurrection and relationship with Jesus Christ is the integral part of their present and future lives.
Why Jesus? Jesus was 100% God, yet 100% human. He lived a perfect, sinless life and He did this so that He could die for your sins on a cross as predicted in the Old Testament scriptures. Why did He die for your sins? Because God is a just and holy God. Sin separates us from God and Jesus' sacrifice of Himself on a cross bridged the gap between us and God. He thought of you the very moments He was getting beaten, spit on, ridiculed and then nailed to the cross. He loves you so much that He'd rather die, than live forever without YOU.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that who ever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not the Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world should be saved through Him. (John 3:16-17)
What Is The Fallout Shelter The CV Fallout Concert Series officially kicked off in March, 2008. The goal of the concert series is to offer a variety of Christian music not normally found in our area to bring together people of varied musical tastes in a safe environment to hear high-energy music and to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
"What a great place to play! We had so much fun and we definitely want to come back soon." - The Rose McCoy
"This is definitely our favorite place to play!" - Sirens of the Sea
"Man, that was a fun show! We get a shower, too?!" - Arts and Sciences
"We would love to get up there and play for your kids again! The show with Ilia was so much fun. That show at your place was just what we needed. We had a sting of disastrous shows prior to that...so I can not tell you the lift it gave us to be with your kids and to have the response that they gave us! We were blessed!" - Wake The Fallen
"The best church environment we've ever played at!" - Flynn
"The most fun we've had at a show in a long time!" - Ilia
"The only place we can get energy like this is in our home town." - Aneirin

I'm REALLY wanting to come to the Rage Against Abuse Tour. I'm almost positive I'll be there, and probably with a friend. I'm going to try and get some of the youth and the cool adults to go too, so maybe we can get in on the group rate. I've heard eleventyseven, and I really like them. I've not heard as much from the others, but I have went to their myspaces to check them out.
I do really respect and love what you guys are doing, how you're reaching out.
I enjoyed myself and am wanting to come to as many shows as possible. I also have a friend I've been trying to get to come with me (he was busy during the last show), and I'm going to tell my youth group about the up-coming shows too. There are one or two I think would really love going to a concert!
I really love what you guys are doing. I'm so glad that there's somebody doing stuff like this, reaching the younger generations with more modern music, showing them that Christ is cool, that living for God can be FUN... and also, the way you're able to interact with the older church members, bringing in new concepts and ideas, the music... like those dramas! It's just so great!
