(the preamble) I love camping, kayaking. Art, music and film. In contrary to most, I do love "all-sorts" black licorice and going to work in the morning. I love to travel; I've been up to the Yukon a couple times to kayak, to Australia, Europe..not much traveling these days but life is good.
Music
...it's not that easy. It varies so much and what mood I need to be in that day to draw.
Movies
I'm pretty inquisitive and fascinated by people and life, so anything based on real life stories and biographies. I'm watching pretty much nothing but documentaries these days...so good.
Television
I don't really watch tv since I don't have one. But I do have this thing for reality tv..something about 'people watching' is quite cathartic and fulfilling. It's great.
Books
Yeah, I've never a fiction reader. I buy biographies or texts - always been into philosophy (my degree) and am always trying to understand the life. I think the Encharidion by Epictetus (stoic philosophy) is an incredible work - I read it religiously.

it's true, we are out west already. sorry you missed the show in guelph - it was a fun one.
and i didn't know guelph was such a groovy little town. i've always had fun shows there, but got to walk around a bit this time. and had a seriously good cup of coffee at a place around the corner from the gig (forgot the name).

Oh wow - lots of people nowadays have been mentioning that picnic! It was a lot of fun.
I'm actually lined up for several shows here in Guelph at Manhattan's... between November 4th and the 12th we're trying to play 200 consecutive hours of original music. Wacky show times but it should be fun.

...the beginning a new creation- " Full Circle"-The Painting....a message I hear..... translated through me..yes, that little voice....I hear and I listen - and I stop painting to write- to document....as I still create, now on paper, ..
... Its not about being a good or bad artist... its simply about Creating, giving back...those gifts from that which are Eternal...through the creation.
We are all good artists, and all SHALL BE good artists....."the message" is to just DO the work...just make something...make anything, draw a line, write with your other hand, create a walk, write, make a curtain.....create...play, create your idea, Your message, add Your color to the universe, and that big universe Will see your creation and respond to all that you do with the beautiful gifts you have been given. Suddenly, with all That, magic begins to happen, gifts, blessings, prayers answered, ..and you want more and more, and you begin to float....
...Float....you realize you are in a daydream state, but totally aware and conscious....and you Know...you just Know, with faith-all things begin and end and begin again and again..in a Full Circle.
And to see "the big time magic", create something, and give it away....give away the time, that moment, which has been given to You, the creation Through You.. You become immortal, eternal, and you change and with change-you are thrown into the Now..and THAT, my friend, is amazing, and for YOU.!!
