CrossLoop Help Marketplace website video demo: How it works
HERE ARE SOME COMMENTS FROM CROSSLOOPERS AROUND THE WORLD:
Can't you think of a word bigger than awesome? I had to cheepen my feelings about the program by picking awesome. Sorry, it's much better than that.
With Real VNC you can have a host of problems like port forwarding and the like. This cuts the chase and gets it done. Again, thank you very much for such an easy way to help my friends. Real VNC is good once you get the connection, but I have never just started it and connected! It's always been a fight that most of the time I would loose. But with Crossloop it's never a fight. Every time I try it, it works. No fight, just amazement! I catch myself holding my breath when I click and tell a friend to click. But real fast, BAM! Connection! Too easy every time. Thanks for making this fun again. Thank you very much. Great
product. Kev
Oh GOD. I owe you a KEG. I have seen six year olds handle a computer better than my mum... Tonight I was able to get onto her computere and show here how to update her anti-virus. What a power of joy that was. I didn't have to travel 2 hours to get to her machine myself. Will I use Crossloop again? Yep. Next time I have to show mum how to save a Word document or delete a word... Thanks guys. You are saving my families sanity -Warr
As I read your email to the end I found that you sent this yourself, which is even one more reason I love Crossloop. I just want to let you know that I was in a hurry when I sent the reply this morning. I really was excited, though you couldn't really tell by my 3 word response, and wanted to add, that we have tried to use LogMeIn, and PC Anywhere in the past and have given up with them. Both have failed miserably on every occasion when we have had to use a another company to try to log in from Arizona to our storage facility in Las Vegas. The only sure fire way we have been able to connect with our tech support, 100% of the time, is by using the simple method implemented by Crossloop! ONLY Crossloop has worked EVERY time and has never failed. Without it, I could not have continued to do business when I have needed to repair my accounting software by our out-of-state technical support team who need to access my computer internally. THANK YOU for that, and for keeping it so user friendly. I will continue to recommend CROSSLOOP to everyone and anyone I come in contact with, whenever the subject arises. Thx again, your avid fan.. Tina
thats the way ahá ahá, i like it!
In all seriousness, it is the BEST program I have EVER USED for customer support as a PC technician. Logmein.com's Rescue service is very very good, but beyond over priced, and just not worth the hassle. The simplicity of CrossLoop made me not only tell my entire IT staff about it, but honestly, I told my wife too! And that is not a joke, and she doesn't know anything about that stuff. So thank you, and I would honestly pay a monthly fee for this
service around $10 - $20/mo Any more and it would really upset me, but for free, you guys are like little mini gods! I have never had a program work behind my firewall at work, and CrossLoop did, first time out of the gate. I've never even had one work the first time, out of the gate, when I wasn't behind a firewall, open to the world. So seriously, keep it up. I love it, and support you guys fully! You know you're a geek when you're fired up about remote desktop software...but hey, it works AS ADVERTISED. You don't have to be a geek to respect that! -B
Yes - Oh yes..... Gran loves it - She's 80 and crashes her computer regularly..... its 180 miles to her house to put it right or 5 mins on cross loop. Beat that for savings in CO2 !!

Hey J.B.- Thanks for the question. We are well aware of this issue. Many Social Networks block widget links for security reasons. We are working on it currently - trying to come up with the best solution which would follow Myspace rules. The best you can do before this issue is fixed is put a link under your widget to your profile url. You can do so by adding the following to your HTML page: < a href= "url_of_link">Text that will be displayed on your page < / a >
I wish you would just block out the month and day of which the service was started and just go with the year. In some cases, like in the comments page, the 2007 is cut off...
Hey Todd - I assume you are talking about the name that displays on the client when logged in is the users account screen name. The default when not logged in is "Username" on "computername" which we get from Windows settings. When not logged in to an account all you have to do is type a new name in the field and Crossloop will remember it, in the registry, and should open with that new name there until you change it again. Hope this helps.
I figured out how to change the default display name through the registry. Could you add that in the settings so that we can easily change how our name is displayed on the machines we connect to?
