My New Job!

I am now the new official Phoenix New Times Street Team Coordinator!!! Yay!
but what does that mean?
It means leading a team of great people to promote New Times at events, concerts, bars, first fridays...where ever! Just to expose New Times and be the great asset to the marketing department that we are *grins*
did I mention we do free Miller Lite at a lot of our events??? uh yea. If I say where's there's a cool event...you should go!..

The National Breaking League

Is:
1. A league built for breakers, by breakers around the nation as a way to build growth, unity, and professionalism in the breaking community.
2. Designed to organize the culture in a way that could be most beneficial for breakers. We work hard to build our skills and deserve the highest recognition.
3. An organization with the future potential of this culture in the forefront of our minds. With the proper organization, presentation, and heart breakers could one day be true “professional” bboys or bgirls that earn a living from battling… which is the reason many of us got into this in the first place.

Is not:
1. A group of corporate no-nothings that are looking to capitalize off of this dance. Every Division Chair in the NBL is a bboy with at least 7 years in the game.
2. One of these corny “breakdancing” leagues that have popped up over the last few weeks claiming to be a league. We are going into our third year and getting stronger.
3. Trying to create monopolies like some others, but we will be in your state soon if we’re not already.
