Having just returned from the Springboard South Music Festival in Houston, Texas and showcases in Los Angeles as part of a promotional tour, Crawford Brothers rubbed shoulders with major representatives of Atlantic Records, Universal Music Group and many high profile music industry professionals…

Crawford Brothers’ are the latest venture of Ben and Zac Crawford, two brothers from the small town of Hinton, about a 30 minute drive west of Newcastle, Australia.

Collectively with Adam Harris (Drums)and Ben Lawrence (Bass), the band have sparked major interest with their world class and jaw dropping live shows and a sound adjoining the pop rock genre with elements of hip hop and rap vocals.

Topped off with a fusion of strong musicianship and well crafted melodic and pop driven anthems, the band proves to be a recipe for success and longevity in this very fast paced and challenging music business. Their in your face presence and give it all attitude leave the audience with a lasting impression and a continually growing fan base.

They’ve just released their highly anticipated self-titled EP which has gained them key international interest and is making huge waves in their home country of Australia and the USA respectively. The record was written and recorded in Newcastle, Australia and distributed through Xelon Music and now available via all major digital outlets including iTunes, Spotify and Amazon Music.

While it’s hard to pigeon hole the bands’ influences and acts of a similar flair and swagger, they state their inspirations as Foster the People, Yelawolf and Imagine Dragons to name a few –Prompting the birth of their inimitable and electrifying sound.

The last 18 months have been pivotal in the bands’career to date. With their passion and strong minded work ethic, Crawford Brothers have focused on taking their unique sound to a whole new international audience. As a result, the band has received many accolades from not only music lovers but high profile industry professionals.

From a longstanding relationship with radio dj - Bruce Wayne Suza (Batman Show) and airplay on his Houston based station, the band caught the attention of legendary songwriter and composer, Barry Coffing, who invited the group to perform at the Springboard South Music Festival in mid-June.

As the only international act on the bill, the bar was set high with anticipation for the unknown Australian band.

An overwhelming response to their band resulted in high appraisal from the fabulous Vicky Hamilton (Manager - Guns and Roses,Motley Crew and Poison) to Cindi Avnet (Balcony TV/Music Supervisor) and their U.S debut opened doors for the band that were unimaginable and unexpected to say the least.

Leading to performances on the Gus Summers Show, Ed Tyll Show and Balcony TV Los Angeles the band were introduced to Anthony Cole (Complex Ent/Rap A Lot Records) who took a strong interest in the group, offering them a major U.S management deal.

Earlier last year, Crawford Brothers claimed the title of Best New Band in GBOB Australasia 2014. The band then flew to Chaing Mai, Thailand to compete in the World Final where they placed 4th in the world and made their imprint on overseas soil for the first time.

After being announced finalists in the Great American Song Contest and semi-finalists in the International Song writing Competition out of 18,000 entrants – their debut record is clearly gaining the notoriety it deserves with rave reviews and an awe-inspiring amount of copies already being sold independently. .

Through their countless milestones and preceding band’s (Powerage, Jupiter Menace, A Bleeding Nation) to name a few, they’ve had the privilege of supporting many high profile local and international acts, most notably Matchbox Twenty, Thirsty Merc, The Angels, Grinspoon and Karnivool.

2016 is set to be the bands’ biggest year yet, with the group deciding to relocate to Los Angeles so they can further their musical journey and start the next chapter in the their career.

Kicking off next year, the band will head back into the studio where they will co-write and collaborate with some highly renowned songwriters and producers in L.A. and start working on their next record.

The bands’ high energy - give it all attitude,has since continued to be a winning formula for inspiring audiences all over the world.
