General
My intrests include sci-fi, mythology, philosophy, Star Wars(origonal movies and post RotJ novels, not that new bullshit lucas tried to pass off as starwars), sword collecting, martial arts, the celts, fudal japan, video games, sword fighting, music(anything you can bang yer head to), role playing, eastern mysticism, anime, anime music videos, and i recently really got into playing guitar(electric and bass). also, i appreciate all forms of art, and in my opinion, anything you do can become art no matter what it is, be it writing, singing, being funny, fighting, or making love. its what you put into the act that makes it art.

Generally i prefer the harder stuff, like System of A Down, Disturbed, KoRn, Rage Against the Machine, METALICA(not that new shit they call music), Offspring, Alice in Chains, Rob Zombie, Stabbing Westward, and some Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock. But i also like listening to various other kinds of music too like alternative and classic rock, orchestral, some rock'n'roll, etc.
Some of the other bands i like are Dresden Dolls, Clutch, Evanescence, Smashing Pumpkins, Ozzie, Bloodhound Gang, Wierd Al, Jimmy Hendrix, The Monkeys, CCR, Beck, Björk, Cake, Godsmack, Garbage, Lords of Acid, Loreena McKennit, Linkin Park, Nirvana, Nickle Back, Foo Fighters, Our Lady Peace, John Williams, They Might Be Giants, Tom Petty, Three Doors Down, Tool, Weezer, Sound Garden, Audioslave, Saliva, REM, Megadeath, Beasty Boys, AC/DC, Guns 'N Roses, Rammstein, The Big Bopper, Static X, Slipknot, Orgy, and Nobuo Uematsu to name a few.

Movies
I'm not as big on movies as i used to be, and i hate watching movies when youre trying to hang out with someone. when your watching a movie, youre not hanging out, youre just watching a movie, and you can do that on your own. i rather do something much more interactive like play a game, go bowling, or swordfight. i will make an exception for occasionally going to the theatre with my friends, cause some things are worth it.
my alltime fav is of course the original starwars movies, too bad lucas lost all skill for making good movies sometime between then and when he made the crappy prequels.
other favs are the the comic movies like xmen, spiderman, the latest batman. i liked the first superman movie, all the others pretty much sucked. also the LOTR trillogy aswel.
Television
tv shows i like include X-Play (no you perves, its a video game review show!) Attack of the Show, Smallville, That 70's Show, anything by Joss Whedon or Sam Raimy.
old school shows i love: Thundercats, Transformers(original, beast wars, and beast machines, not this new crap) Disney's Gargoyles, the old Xmen and Spiderman cartoons.
also, i occasionally watch anime, tho im not as into it as i used to be. but i love finding good anime music videos on kazaa. my favorite animes are ranma 1/2, Escaflowne, Fushigi Yuugi, Tenchi Muyo(oav's and the tv series), Dragon Half, and just for old times sake, Devil Hunter Yohko
the other thing that should be mentioned in this TV section would have to be video games. mostly i like my xbox, but it is glitchy as hell. i hope they fix that with the 360. it sucks, cause i love my Morrowind, but i cant play it cause it keeps freezing up! i also play ps2 and my older systems:nes, snes, and sega genisis.
my fav games: the affore mentioned Morrowind, KOTOR(star wars knights of the old republic), Halo(1&2), Jade Empire, the Final Fantasy games(my favorites in order: 10,7,4,6,tactics), Zelda 1&2 and Link to the past, Xenosaga, Dynasty Warriors 3, Secret of Mana, the original Mario Kart, Soul Blade, DOA 3, Dragon Warrior, the X-Wing and TIE Fighter games on pc, Starcraft, and recently ive gotten into Neverwinter Nights.
games im looking forward to: Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, the next Halo, Final Fantasy 12&13, Dirge of Cerebus, DOA Ultimate, Starcraft:Ghost, and Zelda:Twilight Princess may finally force me to get a gamecube ;p
Books
I am reading Full Contact Magick(wich is the the next book after "Wiccan Warrior" by Kerr Cuhulain) and a book about bushido right now. I would like to read Celastine Prophecy. i have heard very good things about it and it sounds really interesting,i just need ta borrow it from a friend of mine.
I like reading about different mythologies. Mainly celtic, norse, and greek.
I also like to read about philosophy, but i think what i enjoy the most are my starwars novels. i recently finished "Rebel Stand." wich was a very good follow up to "Rebel Dream" and am now reading "Traitor" by Matthew Stover. I'm really liking this one. Stover delves deep into the philosophy of the force and being a jedi, and one thing that makes that so good is that alot of the philosophies he goes into actually apply to our own lives, not just the universe of Star Wars. So, ive been very impressed so far :)
There were many popular authors that added their pen to the star wars universe, my favorites being Micheal Stackpole and Keven J. Anderson.
"Star by Star" by Troy Denning was also pretty good (poor tahiri :-((( ).
My favorite series is the X-wing series. I'ts about Rouge Squadron and their campain after the events of rotj(return of the jedi for u non-starwars fanatics out there). This is also the series in wich my favorite character was introduced: Lt. Corran Horn, who later becomes a jedi and a major character in the universe, and so naturally when i say what my favorite novel of all the star wars books is, that would have to be "I, Jedi" by Michael Stackpole wich, unlike most other novels that have a 3rd person point of view, is a story told from the 1st person view of Corran Horn about his journey of finding his heretige and his place in the universe. It was very well done.Kudos Mr Stackpole!
