   About Cox Brothers
Brothers John and Pete Cox started to write and perform songs together in 2004. Singer/guitarist John had a few things left over from numerous bands that he'd been in, and had already started to get up at open mic nights in Hull as a solo performer.

Once Pete joined on lead guitar the material took on a more dynamic, open form, often unexpected, and the songs really developed into a sound that became much more exciting.

Recently the guys have been joined by Dave Hughes on percussion giving their music a far more Latin American shape. And it is this line up that has just completed the 'Remade' cd - featuring 14 songs performed in an unplugged stylee.

Hi there John and Pete, sorry about the delay in this reply, but there seems to be something technically wrong with my "myspace" site. I cannot get a verification of email at all, and the problem has baffled everybody. I had hoped to see you in the Springhead, but I suspect that it may well be yet another pub due to be boarded up! I myself have been loosing my motivation somewhat, I'm absolutely skint, and awaiting a long awaited cheque that is due to me, which this agency have confirmed will be with me between now and the second week in Oct. Then I can by a transit van and start my proposed removal/delivery business plus whatever musical opportunities may develope through this. I've really had enough of this "one man band" carry on. Anyway I should see you at the Bluebell next week. Regards Tim.

Hi!!

We're Mostly Toast.

"Mostly who!?", I hear you say!!

Well here's a bit of info about what we are, what we do and where we do it....

Mostly Toast is a record label home to the mighty Box Kid. Mostly Toast is a recording studio with 2 recording facilities and a mastering suite. Mostly Toast is a monthly night at The Green Windmill in Stretford, Manchester on the second Thursday of every month. Mostly Acoustic is a weekly unplugged gig which Mostly Toast runs at Nexus Art Cafe in the Northern Quarter, Manchester on Saturday afternoons. The Captain's Log is an unsigned bands podcast compiled by Mostly Toast which is streaming on our myspace page and our website 24 hours a day...

...we're very busy people here at Mostly Toast!

Mostly Toast's main aim is to promote good music.

Whether it be by making the highest quality recordings of a band to be released into the public domain. Finding great venues for artists to perform their music live and ensuring that the sound at these gigs is always to the highest possible standard.
Promoting bands that we work with via the Captain's Log and stand in slots on All FM. Or just selling merchandise for bands through the Mostly Toast online shop.

For more information on Mostly Toast check out www. mostlytoast. co. uk .

If you want to get involved with anything that we do here at Mostly Toast then just drop us a line.

Thanks for reading this.

Love

ooo ooh! new acoustic songs!!! Wow - these sound ace - and you've got ole Crazy Hair (your words, not mine) on percussion... it sounded great when you did it live and it sounds just as good recorded - you can sometimes lose the edge when they're recorded can't you? But these haven't - I gotta get my mits on the new acoustic CD (if there is one?) - hope to see you soon, Emxx
