| About Cordite |
Cordite are a four-piece rock band from The Peoples Republic of Cork in Ireland. Like most other bands there have been many personnel changes in the band and each member of the group have played in different bands at different stages, however the current line-up of Eoin Cullinane (vocals, guitar), Alan Dorgan (guitar), Rory Devitt (bass) and Ronan Hickey (drums) came about in the summer of 2006. Having played a few gigs the band decided to record some songs… which turned into many songs and is now an album! They’re debut album “Live Within The Lie” will be released summer 2007 (there’s no definite release date set yet!!) and before that their first single, “Cheat”, will be released on down-load only! More to come in the next few weeks with some news on upcoming gigs and the release date of the single. For now, have a listen to the tracks above (including a preview of the single) and leave a comment if you like the songs!!

Cordite's debut single available 11th of August for download from www.seeingredrecords.com or from www.downloadmusic.ie for those of you without a credit card!
Users can purchase songs in any one of 3 ways.
They can pay with either Paypal or by requesting an SMS redemption vouchder while using the site, or they can purchase directly from their mobile phone by texting 'music' + an artist id to 57501. When they do this, they will recieve a return SMS message with a username and password for the site, which they can the use to login to the site and collect their song. Please note that the song sale will only be reported to Chart Track when the song is downloaded by the user.

You cna also buy the single through www.seeingredrecords.com from 6pm this evening onwards!!!
