ConFused5, the popular local rock band from Salzburg, Austria, has become the 16th band to secure a recording contract with Sellaband, the innovative web-based record label.
In less than a year, ConFused5 has increased their fanbase to worldwide proportions on the Sellaband internet platform and are currently preparing to record their first Sellaband album.
The sound of ConFused5, influenced by the classic rock sounds of yesterday, is original and fresh and if the band sounds like they might be a young band from the 80’s, it is because they are exactly that.
Three of the five musicians were bandmates in the 80’s and, after a 20 year hiatus, they have reunited to form ConFused5 with the youthful spirit of teenaged rockers combined with the wisdom of experience.
Their music is guitar driven, rhythmically diverse and delivered with vocal integrity thanks to the luxury of two talented and experienced male lead singers.
The album will be recorded in Salzburg, mixed and mastered in Los Angeles and will make its debut live at the Rockhouse Salzburg on July 4th, 2008. --------------Pete Strobl, producer----------------------------------
Hey guys! I just wanted to say hello to you and just to let you know that I've left Sellaband. I'm doing fine it's just that I don't have the time for Sellaband because I'm always traveling now and I don't want the believers to think that I don't care it's just no time to log in. I'm always happy for you guys though. How are things going with the album? I know you will kick it out!!
