ITVS Community Cinema presents free screenings in communities from coast to coast. From September to May, Community Cinema screenings offer special sneak previews of films scheduled for upcoming broadcast on the Emmy Award-winning PBS series Independent Lens. Community Cinema screenings feature panel discussions with leading community-based organizations, special guest speakers, information and resources, and other programming designed to help people learn about and get involved in some of today's key social issues.
ITVS Community combines partnerships, strategic planning, events and resource materials to support community and educational activities through Independent Lens films.
VOTE DEMOCRACY! encourages everyone—particularly young Americans and new voters— to get involved in the democratic process. This national community engagement campaign is focused on: voter registration and engagement, civic engagement and leadership development.
