About me:
What is Community Cinema? ITVS Community Cinema Denver welcomes you to FREE monthly screenings at Denver's Starz FilmCenter (900 Auraria Parkway on the Auraria campus in downtown Denver). From September to May, Community Cinema screenings offer special sneak previews of films scheduled for upcoming broadcast on the Emmy Award-winning PBS series "Independent Lens," which airs statewide in Colorado Tuesday nights at 10 on Rocky Mountain PBS. Community Cinema Denver screenings feature panel discussions with leading community-based organizations, special guest speakers, information and resources, and other programming designed to help people learn about and get involved in important social issues. Community Cinema is brought to you by Rocky Mountain PBS, ITVS and the Denver Film Society.

The selected shorts may be packaged with "Caring for Your Parents" a documentary that will be aired nationally on PBS in April.
