ITVS Community Cinema presents free screenings in communities from coast to coast. From September to May, Community Cinema screenings offer special sneak previews of films scheduled for upcoming broadcast on the Emmy Award-winning PBS series Independent Lens. Community Cinema screenings feature panel discussions with leading community-based organizations, special guest speakers, information and resources, and other programming designed to help people learn about and get involved in some of today's key social issues.

The International Student Film Festival is accepting submissions for the 2008 competition.
Deadline for submissions is March 31, 2008.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that The WGBH Lab is looking for completed 3-minute shorts on the subject of caring for elderly parents and how that affects families and relationships. The selected shorts may be packaged with "Caring for Your Parents" a documentary that will be aired nationally on PBS in April.
