Influences	Bloody hell...what, and who, hasn't been an influence? I bet YOU have, even though we might never have met. So, apart from you and, obviously, COMMANDER SWIFT himself, the main influences would be Elvis Costello, Francis Bacon, Peter Cook, David Bowie, David Niven, Jarvis Cocker and his wonderful band 'Pulp', Samuel Beckett, Neil Hannon, Graham Coxon, Mick Ronson, Joe Jackson, Ronnie Barker, Viv Stanshall, Squeeze...y'know...loads. We could also say that we cultivate a wistful nostalgia for a more innocent and dignified age. Such as when Europe was bombing its own face off during the glorious '40s. Yet we are also driven to discover the unknown delights that our futures hold, such as the potential of earning enough to pay off all of your debts. Yes, YOUR debts.
