Set out on a quest to accomplish this dream, he began to use his musical ear to learn and master every instrument needed to build a solid foundation on which his musical career would stand. Equipped with all the right tools began writing his first album "It All About Love" later released under his first band "Forgivin".

In the late summer of 2005 after the band's department, Cody Scott had began writing his second album "The Ways Of Change" also released under regionally know band "The Sights Of Sound". The band began to take notice from labels & promotional companies, followed with great grief the band had to go separate ways due to personal conflicts.

Still driven by compassion to accomplish the dream he started at a young age he sought out North Carolina's finest producers and began to work on his third debut album "A Chance To Risk It All". Debuting in the late fall of 2014 Cody Scott's third album had suddenly streamed across the social media blazing a trail, capturing the eyes, ears and hearts of a new crowd of followers. Radio stations began to take notice, asking Cody Scott to broadcast a few of his singles off "A Chance To Risk It All". Currently preparing for a national tour he is currently working on his fourth album that Cody Scott predicts may just be the break through record he has been dreaming of.
