Hot jam influenced take on Oldies, Blues, Rock, and R&B!
The Jam Bones are an energetic retro-styled jam-party group that performs fun music from a number of styles including R&B, Oldies, Blues, Reggae, Rock and Roll, Jazz, and more. The Jam Bones covers a wide range of songs by artists like James Brown, Santana, Muddy Waters, The Commodores, The Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Robert Cray, Wilson Pickett, Eric Clapton and The Rolling Stones among many others. The band also performs original music from their new disk "New Recipe" released in Jan 2008 and their 2006 CD "Shake and Bake". The Jam Bones currently has over 170 songs in their active repertoire!
Playing large venues, fairs, concerts, festivals, private events, and occasionally smaller clubs, the Jam Bones tunes the performance for the event on hand. At college performances, for instance, the band plays lengthy improvisational Jam tunes while other venues have a more Bluesy set or Oldies and R&B oriented, yet others may be approached in a more classic or southern rock style. It all depends on the event or the crowd! In any case, the distinctive Jam Bones sound is prominent. That sound is experienced and talented musicians playing their hearts out to audiences delight everywhere.
The Jam Bones was formed by guitarist Rich Walikis in 2003. In 2006 the band released the Syracuse Area Music Award nominated "Shake and Bake" CD which was an infectious disk that included an 18 minute jam as the title track. In January 2008 the band released "New Recipe" - an outstanding collection of all original tunes sure to be one of your all time favorites!

I am still kicking. I took on a big project that has kept me busy but hopefully I can take a break soon and pop in to see you.
BTW Rich, I just can't picture me changing my handle from "Whiskey" to "Ginger Ale". It just doesn't seem right. I'll always remember that sweet taste of Jack even though I can no longer enjoy it.
Hi guys, I saw the write-up in the Sunday "Stars" paper. The minute I get the time, I'm going to get on your site to preview some tracks from your new album. Don't worry, I'll buy a copy (or two) as well. Rich knows I GOTTA have the complete set of all CDs on which he's featured! You guys rock. Maybe at some point in life I'll actually get out to see you too! Keep up the great work. ~Adam!
