The new venue has the feel of our original spot, and is the perfect location to carry on the tradition of Velvet. For those of you who have been there before, it was home to Trash a couple of years back. Once a week, we ask the question... Do you want the same shit on Sundays? Velvet is different from every other club, it takes the best and the worst from all music scenes, and spins it as an unpredictable, campy mix of music. You'll hear music from the Eighties, Nineties, Rock & Roll, Electro, Disco, Indie, Pop, Hip Hop, and more. Bruce Perdew keep's you on your toes, and he mixes his madness like you have never heard before... It's a happy hodgepodge of music that makes you want to dance your ass off, thus comes the name - The Happiest Club On Earth. If you know the history of Velvet, we were the first of our kind to have Go Go Dancers. And as perverted minds work, we thought, why not make them dance without clothes? So when you put two and two together, we bring you the hottest ALMOST NAKED GO GO GIRLS around - Which all make for one amazing night! The first couple of weeks have been real good, and we're redeveloping a following - You need to be there! The cover charge is only $7, with Free Passes this week before 11pm, and the club is 18 & Over - Plus there's plenty of free parking. Spread the word! Perversion has made the move over to Boardners - 1652 Cherokee Ave (just south of Hollywood Bl). The SEX is back, as we have revived the Bondage Show from the original Perversion Concept. Sal (from Dungeon at Blue) is the host of the upstairs Absinthe Lounge, with sexy live performances, weekly guest Doms, and all the Absinthe one can drink. There are two areas for dancing, Industrial Electro, & Noize in the main room, and Goth, Alternative, & Indie on the patio. Perversion is 18 & up. From Long Beach: Take the 710 Frwy north to the 101 Frwy north. Exit Hollywood Blvd and turn left. The club will be on the left side, at Sycamore & Hollywood Bl, just before La Brea. From Santa Monica: Take the 10 frwy east and exit La Brea. Turn left and go north until you hit Hollywood Blvd. The Club will be on the right side before you hit the first light.
