About me: The Youth Study Center is absolutely no place for kids! No one should have to live with rats, spiders, and without education. These are the conditions kids are facing at YSC. It is time that we fight for those who don’t have a voice. Its time that Richard Winder, director of Human Services, does his job and fixes the problems. The Youth Study Center was not a good place for kids before the storm and it isn’t a good place now. Locking children up in this dungeon doesn’t make New Orleans any safer. Children need rehabilitative and preventative services that will put them on a path to success.
